Vineyards:
Two hectares of land from the Costers de l'Ermita vineyard are dedicated to this wine located in Priorat. Slate stone soil is found at an altitude of 285 meters above sea level. Planted in 1908 using the bush vine training method, the planting density is only 2000 vines/hectare. The vineyards have been certified organic by the CCPAE.

- Acidity: 3.72 grams/liter
Winemaking:
Hand-harvested in early October. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks over 10 days at 26°C. Maceration followed for 45 days with periodic pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation occurred. Using new French Allier barriques, the wine aged for 12 months before being filtered and bottled. It was cellared an additional 2 years before being released.
Tasting Notes:
On the nose, it displays a beautiful bouquet of blackberry and cassis with floral and mineral hints. It is complex on the palate with layered texture and a persistent finish.
